YARN
RED HEART Super Saver Chunky, 6oz/170g skeins, each approx 207yd/189m (100% acrylic)

  • For Man’s Scarf and Hat: 3 skeins #656 Teal (A) OR 3 skeins #624 Tea Leaf (B)
  • For Woman’s Scarf and Hat: 3 skeins #311 White (C) OR 3 skeins #905 Magenta (D)

KNITTING NEEDLES

  • 1 size 10 (6mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm long or any size to obtain correct gauge
  • 1 set size 10 (6mm) double-pointed needles
  • For Man’s Tea Leaf Scarf: 1 pair size 13 (9mm) knitting needles

NOTIONS

  • Cable needle
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Scarf 8"/20.5cm wide by 60"/152 cm long
Hat 20–22"/51–56 cm circumference

GAUGE
12 sts and 20 rows = 4"/10cm in Stockinette st on smaller needles
10 sts and 18 rows = 4"/10cm in Stockinette st on larger needles
