- 2 balls #3540 Currant
KNITTING NEEDLES
- 1 size 10 (6mm) circular needle, 16"/40.5cm long or any size to obtain correct gauge
- 1 set size 10 (6mm) double-pointed needles
NOTIONS
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
- 7.75"/19.5cm by 1.75"/4.5cm rectangle of thin, flexible plastic, such as an ice cream bucket lid (for brim)
- 2 buttons, 1"/25mm diameter
- Yarn needle
GAUGE
16 sts and 19 rows = 5"/12.5 cm in pattern sts holding 2 strands of yarn together, unstretched
