Heart Hat and Double Knit Scarf
Keep her ears doubly warm with stitched-on hearts and chunky braid;
This simple technique works double-duty: winter white for your little angel and poppy red for your little, um, love.

YARN
STITCH NATION BY DEBBIE STOLLER FULL O' SHEEP, 3.5oz/100g balls each approx 155yd/142m (100% Peruvian wool)
To make both hat and scarf: 2 balls #2910 Poppy (A), 2 balls #2205 Little Lamb (B)

KNITTING NEEDLES
For Scarf: 1 pair size 8 (5mm) knitting needles.
For Hat: 1 size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle 16"/40cm, or any size to obtain correct gauge
NOTIONS
For Hat: Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook, Stitch markers, Yarn needle
SIZES
Hat: S, M, L. Scarf is 1 size.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Scarf is 6"/15cm wide by 40"/101.5cm long.
Hat Head Circumference: 15 (19, 22)"/38 (48.5, 56)cm
GAUGE
For Scarf: 12 sts and 17 rows = 4"/10cm in Double-knit st. Gauge is not essential for this project.
For Hat: 14 sts and 24 rows= 4"/10cm in Stockinette st
