Easily turn a cable-knit wrap for a little girl into a women’s holiday shawl by adding 3 repeats.

KERTZER NORTHERN SPORT, 1¾oz/50g balls each approx 170yd/155m (100% acrylic)
3 balls in #0904 ecru

KNITTING NEEDLES
1 pair size 5 (3.75 mm) knitting needles or any size to obtain correct gauge
NOTIONS
Cable needle
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
9½"/24cm wide by 44"/112cm long
GAUGE
21 sts and 28 rows = 4"/10cm in pattern stitch.
Remember to check gauge for best results!
HOW TO MAKE A GAUGE SWATCH
Cast on 29 sts.
Rows 1 and 5 (Right Side) *P2, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p2, k4; repeat from * to last 7 sts, p2, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p2.
Rows 2, 4, and 6 P3, *k1 tbl, p10; repeat from * to last 4 sts, k1 tbl, p3.
Row 3 *P2, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p2, 2/2 LC; repeat from * to last 7 sts, p2, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p2.
Repeat Rows 1–6 for pattern st until piece measures 4"/10cm.
Bind off.
Resulting gauge swatch should measure 5½"/14cm x 4"/10cm. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain gauge.
