Super-soft and washable yarn makes this first baby blanket a likely contender for a future security blanket. We wouldn’t want to let it go.

RED HEART SOFT BABY STEPS, 5oz/142g balls each approx 256yd/234m (100% acrylic)
2 balls #9600 White (A)
1 ball #9620 Baby Green (B)

KNITTING NEEDLES
1 pair size 8 (5mm) knitting needles or any size to obtain correct gauge
1 size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24"/61cm long

NOTIONS
Yarn needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Blanket 24"/61cm by 36"/91.5cm
Burp Cloth 10"/25.5cm by 15"/38cm

GAUGE
18 sts and 24 rows = 4"/10cm in Stockinette st using larger needle
