Shimmery Wrap
For a holiday party wrap, try a wool yarn with metallic thread.

YARN
Nashua GRAND OPERA, 1¾oz/50g balls each approx 128yd/117m (86% wool, 9% viscose, 5% metallized polyester)
8 balls in #NGO .5793 Faded Lavender
KNITTING NEEDLES
1 pair size 6 (4mm) knitting needles or any size to obtain correct gauge
NOTIONS
Yarn needle
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
16"/40.5cm wide by 47 (58½, 70½)"/119.5 (148.5, 179)cm long
GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rows= 4"/10cm in Stockinette st.
Remember to check gauge for best results!
HOW TO MAKE A GAUGE SWATCH
Cast on 20 sts.
Work in Stockinette st for 4"/10cm from beginning.
Bind off.
Resulting gauge swatch should measure 4"/10cm square. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain gauge.
