Advent Calendar
Hide small gifts in numbered pockets with jangling jingle bells. At the end of advent, the calendar reads “Merry Christmas to All.”

RED HEART Super Saver, 7oz/198g skeins, each approx 364yd/333m (100% acrylic)

  • 1 skein #0387 Soft Navy (A)
  • 1 skein #0256 Carrot (B)
  • 1 skein #0368 Paddy Green (C)
  • 1 skein #0706 Perfect Pink (D)
  • 1 skein #0376 Burgundy (E)
  • 1 skein #0320 Cornmeal (F)
  • 1 skein #0624 Tea Leaf (G)

KNITTING NEEDLES

  • 1 pair size 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles or any size to obtain gauge
  • 1 set size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed knitting needles

CROCHET HOOK

  • 1 size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook

NOTIONS

  • 48 jingle bells,.5"/12.5mm diameter
  • 6 jingle bells,1⅜"/35mm diameter
  • Yarn needle small enough to fit through hole in bells
  • Small amount of polyester fiberfill
  • 4 stitch markers

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Garland 104"/264cm measured from outer ends of hanging loops (approx. 116"/294.5cm when stretched)
Pocket 3.75 x 3.75"/9.5 x 9.5cm
Large ornaments 2.75"/7cm diameter

Yes, the Advent Calendar pattern is in the magazine. At the bottom of the download page (above), it lists the issue date where you can find the pattern, which is October/November 2011.
